TrucTrain Trailer

While strolling through a junk yard in Suffolk, Virginia -- I didn't ask -- Hank Mummert happened across a vintage PRR TrucTrain trailer during August, 1998. What follows are his descriptions and photos of this rare find.

Here are HO scale drawings (815K, 300dpi, JPEG) of the TrucTrain trailer, as prepared by Hank.

Rear portion, curb side.

Front portion, curb side. There is a slight hint of where the large circle logo was (behind and below the boom of the tow truck).

Undercarriage, curb side. Note the Firestone tires. Not legible, but the square label above the tires reads "LIFT"; the other is a bumper sticker.

Landing gear, curb side. Shows ACI label and "LIFT" label.

Looking forward, driver's side. No door on this side.

Front, looking at connections.

Front, looking at connections, closer view.

Front, left corner. Slight evidence of logo on side, where lighter paint exists above darker paint below.

Rear, showing Keystones! Bumper is 12 inches below frame.

Inside of trailer is grey. White 6 inch letters and numbers.
